Emerging star MAX RAD exclusively releases new tracks as NFTs on Web3 music marketplace TokenTraxx
Max Rad, the multi-talented singer-songwriter, producer and DJ is releasing his new singles as an NFT collection with Web3 music marketplace TokenTraxx.
TokenTraxx is exclusively dropping the ‘Dream Big’ EP - 50 limited edition NFTs for each of four brand new tracks which feature in Max’s forthcoming album ‘Joy Wonder’.
Miles Leonard, co-founder of TokenTraxx said: “Max’s self-reflective and deeply emotional lyricism which encompasses warm electronics and soulful vocals is such a distinct sound. We are extremely privileged to welcome Max to the TokenTraxx family and honoured that he has chosen us to help grow his audience, particularly in the Web3 arena.”
Max Rad’s single ‘Where Are We Now?’ which propelled him into the music scene was released in collaboration with Kitsuné Musique and his evocative double EP ‘Save Me From Myself’ earned scores of plaudits and admirers. Max’s most recent EP 'Point Me In The Right Direction' was reviewed to critical acclaim in March this year.
Talking about this NFT drop, Max said: “Releasing my music through TokenTraxx is exciting. As an independent artist I handle and manage my own projects so the chance to release 200 NFTs alongside my new album is the perfect introduction to Web3 for me.
“There is a murky underbelly to the music industry which can be hard to navigate for streaming artists who are having to sign deals which may not necessarily be good for them and can impact rights, royalties and revenues.
“I am hoping that through NFTs and TokenTraxx there is now a light at the end of the tunnel for myself and artists like me. It just feels like it’s more about power to the people and less corporate control,” said Max.
